As companies face increasing regulatory pressure and rising customer expectations for transparency; the ability to collect, compare, and exchange emissions data reliably is essential. iLEAP, developed as open source by Smart Freight Centre and the SINE Foundation, provides a structured digital protocol that is becoming the foundation for automated emissions data exchange across the logistics industry.

But standards are only impactful once they are implemented, tested, and adopted in real workflows.
