Defining the big picture

Our Boards & Committees.

  1. Boards & Committees

Strong open source governance is crucial for the success of collaborative innovation. The Open Logistics Foundation fosters trusting working relationships through transparent structures and clear rules. Our bodies and committees also stand for this.

Our Foundation

The Board of Directors of the Open Logistics Foundation serves as the executive body and is representing the Foundation in external affairs. The members of the Board see themselves as spearheads and drivers of the development of innovative open source applications in logistics and supply chain management.

Our Committees

Our committees support the Foundation’s general thematic development and consult the Working Groups during their establishment. They also ensure the industry-wide relevance of the topics and support the concrete work of developers within the Working Groups and projects. Our strategic members are responsible for nominating experts to serve on these committees.

Logistical Steering Committee

The Logistical Steering Committee assesses the quality and logistical relevance of the project ideas generated by the Foundation’s Community. Based on these assessments, the members of the Committee initiate Working Groups and provide support during their activities.
