eDeliveryNote

The implementation of an eDeliveryNote based on open source technology is part of the Open Logistics Foundation’s strategic mission. The aim is to establish open, interoperable de facto standards for logistics and to jointly develop solutions that are available to the entire market.

Common challenges

The delivery note is a central accompanying document in national freight transport. However, there is not yet a uniform cross-industry standard for its structure, content or digital use. In practice, a mix of paper-based documents, proprietary digital solutions, and different data models coexist. The eDeliveryNote project aims to address this by developing an open, consensus-based data model along with standardised processes for creating, sharing and signing digital delivery notes.

Regular meeting

Our regular meeting takes place every third Friday of the month from 11:00 to 12:00 CET.

Our meeting with a legal focus takes place on the first Friday of every month from 11:00 to 12:00 CET.
