Knowledge Circle AI

The Knowledge Circle AI (KC AI) brings together representatives from OLF member companies for open exchange and collaborative innovation dedicated to artificial intelligence in logistics. The Circle provides a platform for knowledge sharing, peer-to-peer learning, and the early identification of emerging topics in AI with the potential to evolve into future open source initiatives and projects.

Our focus

As artificial intelligence rapidly becomes a key driver of digitalisation in logistics, it opens up new opportunities across the industry — while also raising new technical and practical questions around its application.

The goal of the Knowledge Circle AI is to bring together organisations and practitioners to explore these questions and build practical knowledge around AI in logistics. It provides a low-threshold entry point for emerging topics, enabling participants to share real-world experiences, discuss use cases and best practices, and gain early insight into relevant technologies and trends. At the same time, it serves as an incubator for future collaborations, projects, and open source activities within the Open Logistics Foundation.

Each meeting focuses on a specific topic and combines presentations, lightning talks, deep dives, and open discussions in an informal, practice-oriented format. By connecting perspectives across organisations, the Knowledge Circle AI helps the OLF community develop a shared understanding of AI and identify opportunities for future initiatives.

Who should join us?

The KC AI is open to those who want to actively shape the foundations for artificial intelligence and open source in logistics.

We welcome, for example:

  • Experts and practitioners in AI
  • Organisations interested in AI-driven innovation in logistics
  • Members seeking an accessible entry point into using AI in connection with the work of the OLF ecosystem

Participation is open to representatives of Open Logistics Foundation member companies.
