Cargo Experts Conference (CEC)

The IATA Cargo Experts Conference (CEC) brings together professionals from across the air cargo supply chain to address today’s challenges and uncover tomorrow’s opportunities. This collaborative platform is designed for experts, creating space for dialogue, exchange, and forward-looking strategies across four key areas: Pharma, Operations, Claims & Loss Prevention, and Digital Cargo.

This year, the Open Logistics Foundation is proud that several of our member companies will be there to contribute to the Digital Cargo stream, with representatives showcasing how open source drives real progress in implementing IATA standards. The sessions will highlight how community-driven innovation accelerates adoption of solutions like ONE Record, Book & Claim, and eCMR, making them practical tools for the entire industry.

Speakers from BusinessCode, Fraunhofer IML, and iteratec will demonstrate how airlines, freight forwarders, tech providers, and other stakeholders can collaborate to build interoperable platforms by breaking down silos and unlocking new business models. By sharing tangible results from our open source roundtables, these talks will illustrate how openness is not just a technical pathway but a strategic asset for the air cargo industry’s future.
