BVL Supply Chain CX

The logistics industry is once again coming together for the German Logistics Congress, BVL Supply Chain CX, in Berlin. With this event, BVL combines the technical depth of the German Logistics Congress with a new and diverse networking concept: Congress meets Expo. Strategy meets operations. C-level meets young professional. The new CX is for everyone in the supply chain. The Open Logistics Foundation will be present with numerous representatives and looks forward to engaging with other participants, providing insights into the Foundation’s work, and facilitating connections with member companies.

A major focus for the Foundation this year is the presentation of the industry-ready open source software for the digital consignment note: the OLF-eCMR. The Foundation is also working to develop and expand communities in the areas of “Digital Air Cargo”, “Zero Emission Logistics” and “Intralogistics”.

The Foundation will be part of the “Black box AI – Is open source the better alternative for companies?” panel. Andreas Nettsträter, OLF, is joined by Raoul Wintjes, DSLV, Ingo Müller, Dachser, Anike Murrenhoff, Fraunhofer IML and Volker Strasser, Microsoft, to discuss how open source AI can change companies’ access to AI, what benefits it brings and whether it can reduce dependencies or even redefine make-or-buy decisions for companies.
