With a significant increase in the number of member organisations, the Open Logistics Foundation has made the transition from the build-up to the growth phase earlier than expected. As agreed upon already when the Foundation was established in December 2021, this transition is accompanied by a reorganisation of the Foundation’s Board of Directors: Jochen Thewes, CEO of DB Schenker, hands over the chair to Dr. Stephan Peters, a member of the Board of Rhenus.

Mit einer deutlichen Steigerung ihrer Mitgliederzahl ist die Open Logistics Foundation früher als erwartet von der Aufbau- in die Wachstumsphase übergegangen. Für diesen Zeitpunkt hatten die Mitglieder des Vorstands bereits bei der Gründung eine neue Aufgabenverteilung vorgesehen,
die nun wirksam wird: Jochen Thewes, CEO von DB Schenker, übergibt Dr. Stephan Peters, Mitglied des Vorstands der Rhenus Gruppe, den Vorsitz im Vorstand der Open Logistics Foundation.
