The first dates and topics for the joint event series “Deep Dive Open Source” of the Open Logistics Foundation and the research project Silicon Economy at Fraunhofer IML have been set.
Researchers at Fraunhofer IML have now made results of software and hardware developments from development projects of the “Silicon Economy” research project available in the repository of the Open Logistics Foundation.
Today, Dachser, DB Schenker, duisport and Rhenus established the Open Logistics Foundation in Berlin. The purpose of the non-profit foundation is to build a European open-source community aiming to promote digitalization in logistics and supply chain management based on open source and standardize logistics processes through de facto standards.
