Code for the future.

Use and adopt.

All software components developed by the Innovation Community are accommodated in the Open Logistics Repository and available for companies to use, develop further, and/or commercialise.

The Open Logistics Foundation Repository is home to two different categories of open source components: Some are developed in Foundation projects, others are contributed to the Repository by third parties as code donations.

Category 1: Some open source components are actively developed in the Foundation’s projects. They belong to a thematic focus, a Working Group. Behind these developments are the Foundation’s partners who, after clarifying legal, organisational and technical challenges, work on the code across companies and make it publicly available.

Category 2: The majority of the currently published open source components based on code donations from third parties were carried out as part of the Silicon Economy and Blockchain Europe research projects of the Fraunhofer Institute for Material Flow and Logistics IML. Other scientific institutions and organisations, as well as companies, also have the possibility of contributing source code to the Open Logistics Repository for the purpose of publishing and making their results more sustainable.

Categories

Authorization Module

The basic Blockchain component is used to map roles and control access rights to information and smart contracts.

BORDER

The components and services of BORDER allow the digital handling of customers-relevant data along international supply chains, using blockchain technology.

Collaborative Demand Aligner

The Collaborative Demand Aligner is a coordination tool as web application for demand alignment (quantity & time) between producers and suppliers to increase planning reliability in production planning.

Digital Folder

The Digital Folder forms the cornerstone for a blockchain based IT infrastructure. It is ensuring the data integrity of documents.

eCMR

The eCMR is intended to enable the creation, storage, and further processing of digital consignment notes.

Emissions Data Exchange

As part of the project, the iLeap data model developed by Smart Freight Centre and the SINE Foundation for exchanging sustainability data along the supply chain will be implemented and validated in various use cases

evoBOT Simulation Model

The “evoBOT” simulation model is a virtual representation of the real vehicle and enables the realistic evaluation of new designs, sensors and algorithms within the simulation.

GPID

The Goods Passport ID, or GPID for short, is a key data set that enables customs authorities to quickly identify duty evasion and prohibited goods. As a result, the entire digital customs process is further accelerated. A permission hybrid blockchain is used for the GPID.

GPS Fuser Lib

The GPS Fuser Lib can be used for localisation of mobile robots and automated guided vehicles via DGPS in the outdoor area.

Integration Toolbox

The components of this Integration Toolbox are tools that aim to simplify the integration of IDS components into existing or emerging systems, such as the Silicon Economy’s EDC.

IoT-Broker

The IoT Broker is a basic component of platforms and a solution to integrate IoT devices.

KI-ETA

From an end-user perspective, the AI-powered ETA service enables the calculation of transport routes and prediction of expected arrival/departure times (ETA/ETD).

libVDA5050++

libVDA5050++ offers a generic open source implementation of the VDA5050 standard, enabling manufacturers of FTFs to quickly and easily convert their vehicles to this standard.

Light Node Service

This basic Blockchain component is used to connect and identify data sources and sinks to the blockchain.

ML Toolbox

The ML Toolbox supports the development of ML software by providing tools for common tasks in the development process of an Machine Learning (ML) application.

NE:ONE

The project will develop an open source server software package called “NE:ONE”, which implements the data model and API specifications of the IATA ONE Record standard for air freight. NE:ONE enables the operation of a ONE Record server and therefore participation in data exchange out-of-the-box.

O3dyn Simulation Model

The O3dyn simulation model is a virtual representation of the real outdoor robot O3dyn and enables the realistic evaluation of new designs, sensors and algorithms within the simulation.

Perishable

Perishable is an open source solution for digitalisation of import processes in perishable airfreight logistics, especially designed to support import agents in the import of fresh goods.

Port Transfer

The service enables digital orchestration of traffic in port areas, leading to reduction of transport cost, traffic jams (both in the port area itself and the adjoining road system).

Sensing Puck

The Sensing Puck is a compact track & trace device with temperature, humidity, position and acceleration sensors.

Simple DGPS 

This basic Differential GPS (DGPS) is a well-known and very accurate localization system for many outdoor applications, especially for mobile robotics.
