eCMR

The OLF-eCMR software enables companies to handle shipping documents uniformly in a human- and machine-readable format, based on established templates and standards.

For Markant customers, the eCMR is of crucial importance because this ‘electronic’ document is another building block enabling fully paperless deliveries.

Join our eCMR Q&A Hour

We invite you to a live Q&A session with our Technical Advisor Jens Leveling, also Lead Software Architect at Fraunhofer IML. This is your opportunity to learn more, ask questions, and explore how you can implement the software in your own operations.

Common challenges

Until recently, freight documents like the CMR were paper-based, leading to high administrative costs, cross-channel breaks, and errors. Though electronic formats now exist, they often lack compatibility. To address this, the Open Logistics Foundation community launched the eCMR project. The project has now resulted in an industry-ready open source software solution, the OLF-eCMR. The software is continuously developed and enhanced.

Regular meeting

Our regular meeting takes place every Friday from 11:00 to 12:00.
Our meeting with a legal focus takes place on the first Friday of every month from 11:00 to 12:00.
