Meeting of the open source pioneers at Rhenus Logistics

The board members Jochen Thewes representing DB Schenker, Dr. Stephan Peters representing Rhenus Logistics and Stefan Hohm representing Dachser could look back on an exciting first half-year. The repository was published, the work on the open source eCMR has picked up speed and new members have joined the initiative. Thus Markant Gruppe, Gebrüder Weiss and Interface21.io GmbH could be directly integrated into the work of the foundation.

The meeting was accompanied by both the Board of Trustees of the Foundation and the Board of the Open Logistics e. V. with Prof. Dr. Dr. h. c. Michael ten Hompel representing Fraunhofer IML, Markus Bangen representing duisport – Duisburger Hafen AG, Jakub Piotrowski representing BLG LOGISTICS GROUP AG & Co. KG, Prof. Dr. Dr. h. c. Michael Henke representing Fraunhofer IML, Markus Sandbrink representing Rhenus Logistics and Christian Bockelt representing DB Schenker, many well-known and visionary forward thinkers and leaders in the logistics industry are united in the committees. They share the common vision of driving the digitalisation of logistics through open source #software and #hardware, thus contributing to more transparency, efficiency and sustainability.

The meeting was accompanied by the Head Office of the Open Logistics Foundation, represented by Andreas Nettsträter, Thorsten Huelsmann and Carina Tüllmann.
