ALICE Logistics Innovation Summit 2025

The Open Logistics Foundation will participate in the ALICE Logistics Innovation Summit 2025, taking place on 23–24 October at the Tangla Hotel in Brussels. This two-day event will bring together stakeholders from across the freight transport and logistics ecosystem to exchange knowledge, showcase innovations, explore the most pressing challenges and opportunities in the logistics sector in Europe and beyond.

Held under the theme “Freight transport and logistics innovation for a competitive Europe”, the Summit highlights the importance of adopting an integrated, system-wide approach to ensure logistics continues to support a robust internal market and Europe’s global competitiveness. Topics of this year include the Physical Internet and AI in logistics, road transport electrification and automation, multimodal transport, resilient supply chains, digitalisation and eFTI implementation, intralogistics, and more.

The Open Logistics Foundation will be represented by Thorsten Hülsmann, who will contribute on Thursday, 23 October to the session “From regulation to implementation: eFTI, Data Spaces, and European Digital Infrastructure Consortium” (Parallel session 1B from 14:30 to 15:40). His input will focus on “Open Source and eCMR”, underlining how open source approaches can strengthen interoperability and accelerate the digital transformation of logistics.

With influential discussions, networking opportunities, and an exhibition showcasing innovative solutions and cutting-edge technologies, the Summit is set to be a central meeting point for ALICE members, industry executives, European policymakers, and research leaders.
