Participants of the TRANSFER.FESTIVAL will gain insights into the latest digital innovations in logistics and IT on Tuesday, 30 August, at the Fraunhofer Institute for Material Flow and Logistics IML in Dortmund. The Digital Hub Logistics is organising the event for the third time; in the past two years, the TRANSFER.FESTIVAL was paused due to the Corona pandemic.
The motto of the unqiue event format is “No Lectures. Just Workshops”: Participants can put together their own individual programme of 14 workshops and various lab tours with a look behind the scenes at Fraunhofer IML in the morning. Numerous partners from the innovation ecosystem of the Digital Hub Logistics are involved in the programme. Among them is the Open Logistics Foundation with a workshop on “What you can’t earn money with in logistics …”.
In the workshops, “building, planning, conceptualising, programming, puzzling, deciphering and debating” is basically on the agenda. In a creative environment, participants can get new inspiration in a pleasant atmosphere – for example, on,
- how new technologies can be transferred into practice,
- how new concepts and strategies strengthen one’s own company,
- how scientific findings can enable companies to play a pioneering role,
- how new methods improve everyday working life,
- and what added value networking and digitalisation bring.
Networking is also important on a personal level: There will be time for exchange and networking with and among digital experts in and between the workshops as well as at a relaxed get-together in the evening with food trucks and live music.
The participation fee for the TRANSFER.FESTIVAL is 49 euros (39 euros if you register by 30 June or while stocks last). Start-ups pay 29 euros, students can attend for free. To register, click here.
