Please note that doing so will share data with third-party providers. \n More Information \n Unblock content Accept required service and unblock content \n \n \n\n  \nThe Open Logistics Foundation invites you to learn more about Spain’s mandatory digital DCA and why and how companies should prepare now.\nSpain is introducing a mandatory digital transport control document\, and we’re here to help you prepare. \nFrom 5 October 2026\, road transports connected to Spain (both domestic and cross-border) will only be permitted if a digital Documento de Control Administrativo (DCA) is available and accessible for roadside inspections. \nIn this first-ever Spotlight Session\, we’ll explain what the Spanish regulation actually requires\, what the digital DCA is (and how it differs from the CMR)\, and why companies operating into or out of Spain should start preparing now. \nWe will also explore how the electronic consignment note (eCMR) can serve as an equivalent to the DCA (provided certain compliance requirements are met) and what that means for international logistics companies aiming to avoid parallel systems. \nFinally\, we’ll introduce the Open Logistics Foundation’s open source eCMR solution\, with a focus on how it can be adopted to fit your needs in Spain. \nWhat you’ll take away from this session: \n\nWhat Spain’s digital DCA obligation means and who it affects\nWhen and how an eCMR can be used as a valid alternative\nSteps to ensure compliance without building a separate DCA system\nKey technical requirements (e.g.\, PDF/A\, QR code access\, tamper-proof storage)\nCommon administrative hurdles (e.g.\, domain registration\, Spanish certificates)\nHow organisations can adopt the OLF-eCMR solution quickly\n\nSpeakers:\nDr. David Saive\, LL.M (Legal Product Owner) and Andreas Nettstrateter (CEO)
